Bayliner's CSI Award Streak Continues in 2011

For the fourth year in a row, Bayliner Boats has received the prestigious Customer Satisfaction Index
(CSI) Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the leading association of the
recreational boating industry. In fact, Bayliner received not one but three 2011 CSI awards from the NMMA.
With this year's honors, Bayliner becomes the only fiberglass boat company in the value segment to receive
at least one CSI award in four straight years. This year, Bayliner was the recipient of awards in the following
categories: Deck Boats, Sterndrive Bowrider Boats, Sterndrive Cuddy and Express Boats.

For over 50 years Bayliner has provided family's with outstanding value for their on-water fun! Today, as a part of the Brunswick Corporation, Bayliner's line-up is better than ever and is full of cool, innovative features and top-notch constructions. And, they back up their products with a LIFETIME Hull Warranty that covers the hull, floor, and stringer system!

A staple in the Bayliner line that is easily noticeable when looking at the boat is the BEAM FORWARD design. With the widest point of the boat @ the Console as opposed to the transom, the interior space is maximized and an 18 foot boat feels bigger than most competitive 19 foot models!  The hull bottom is also extended forward so that the 18 footer has the running surface and the ride of a 19 footer - and, as most boaters know, the bigger the boat the better the ride! Couple this fact that many competitive 18 foot boats from other brands are simply 17 foot boats with an extended platforms and you'll see even more added value with Bayliner!

Bayliner's ADVANCED PLANING SYSTEM (APS) Hull Design helps increase performance and fuel economy on all Bayliner boats.  Whether you're pulling a skier or out for an afternoon on the water, the APS hull design responds smoothly and predictably. That's because Bayliner engineers designed our innovative APS hull in cooperation with Mercury Marine engines, so they work in harmony to give you increase fuel efficiency, extra acceleration for pulling skiers, and maximum performance for getting up to plane with minimal bow rise. PRE-PLANE- Tapered chines promote lift and drive the center of lift to the rear for improved engine efficiency and faster transition to plane. PLANE- The unique Delta Step Pad adds stability and reduces drag for a smooth, comfortable ride and the reverse strakes reduce water resistance by directing water flow along the hull. Another interesting fact is that while many manufacturer's keep the same hulls under their boats for a period of 8-10 years Bayliner almost always updates there hulls with modifications every 3 years in order to keep things up to date with market trends and new engine modifications.
