If you have participated in our JR Trade-In program, that program is unchanged and you can review the info on this page. The Swap your Gear
program is designed for products that are not a part of the JR. Trade Program.

While not a sale per se, Swap your Gear Weekend is a chance for customers to trade in their pre-owned equipment and get immediate use gift cards to upgrade their gear! This event leads into Cleveland Ski Fest, October 2nd-5th (Click Here for Details).

How Does it work?
On a baseline level, simply bring in any qualifying product that you want to swap out or trade-in (see list below) and you can get a
value for an immediate use store credit that you can use on any product in the store.

What type of Gear do you take?
Here are the qualifying items (anything not listed here does NOT qualify)

 All qualifying items must be in good, usable condition and clean. All boot/binding buckles, boa's, and laces must work. Boot soles must
have minimal wear. All ski bindings must be on the indemnified list for the industry. All Jackets and Pants must be Clean.

     - Outerwear Winter Sports Pants

How will you value the merchandise?
We will shoot for a value of approximately 50% of what we thing it would sell for in a consumer swap shop. There are also 20% in fees in
those swaps. So, customers can certainly opt for the swap route as an alternative, but there are no guarantees of the items selling. Our Swap
your Gear Program is a guarantee that you can put to use immediately. No hassle, no waiting, no uncertainty.

Can I used my in-store credit on Sale Items?
Yes, the in-store credit can be used toward any winter sports product in the store. Even sale items. It cannot be used toward non
winter sports gear (marine products) or labor (ski service labor or marine labor).

Can I use my in-store credit at a later date?
Unfortunately no- you need to use the in-store credit immediately. This keeps things clean for us accounting wise to have the
in-store credit used right away.

I have used your junior trade in program in the past- how is this different?
In general, you are better off sticking with our Jr. Trade-in program where you will get 25-50% of what you paid as a credit toward
new gear. However, if you purchased gear that was not part of our Jr Program or you bought it in a swap, then that product qualifies for the
swap your gear program.

I can't make it in during Sept 19th-21st? Can I come in another time?
     - We can offer the same program on Thursday September 18th and Monday September 22nd. We will not promote this, but we will allow the
program to be utilized during those 2 extra days. But, no additional date exceptions.
